Oh dayumn.
Hope they dont attack humans.
Imagine fishing and one of them prowling behind us ready to jump on us.

Re: They’re out there
that thing is huge. no feral house cat has quadriceps like that thing.
whatever it actually is, i'd be very interested to find out how it got in australia.

Re: They’re out there
Could just be a feral cat, they get pretty big. I assume the little ones don't do so well in the wild without people feeding them and cleaning up after them so only the huge ones survive. Wasn't there a video of one killing a wallaby or something? Wallabies aren't small themselves.

Brown Trout: 37cm
Flathead: 51cm; Squid: 36cm; Australian Salmon: 51cm; Snapper 46cm; Silver Trevally 23cm; KGW: 45cm

Re: They’re out there
I didn't get round to watching the video earlier but now that I have, it's a feral cat. bloody big one but not a '15-20kg panther'.
it's head and tail are too small to be a panther.
the comments on the article make for some entertainment though.

Agree with croe. I watched it last night. I personally enjoyed having to reload the page 8 times copping the 15 second ad each time and not having the 13 second video load. Ended up viewing it on desktop.
The cat is jacked. Head is small. Looks to me like the result of multiple generations of feral cats.

Re: They’re out there
Still don’t think cats hunch whilst they walk like that, and they don’t have the broad/high shoulders or long thick tail like that
Definitely not the 15-20kg that’s reported though I don’t think
