Looking at that list Would have been easier to list the non authorised workers (if there is any left that is )Sebb wrote: ↑Fri Oct 01, 2021 10:51 pm"Authorised provider and authorised worker list | Coronavirus Victoria" https://www.coronavirus.vic.gov.au/auth ... orker-list
Sounds like almost everyone is mandated to be vaccinated by the govt.

Re: Back in lockdown again.
Basic understanding of mathematics will say this 12% rate is better than the anticipated rate given most of the vaccines are around the 80% mark effective ... Any man and his dog will know that that 12% death rate is way way much better than a 64% death rate.
Just go and get jabbed - it will not only give you the chance to earn an income but will also give you a better chance to be alive - simple decision IMHO

Mate does garden maintenance, will not buy on line & has no computercrumpet_avenger wrote: ↑Fri Oct 01, 2021 7:23 pmA bunnings power pass
Gives you a discount as well
I think you need an abn to have 1.
Some "tradies" aren't really tradies.
The guys who try to go to bunnings to get weedkiller without a powerpass are an example of why we are in lockdown.
Not essential to be in store like bunnings so shouldn't be there

How olds your daughter and was she vaccinated?re-tyred wrote: ↑Sat Sep 25, 2021 5:14 amBecause you get priority in ICU over my daughter.Robbie1950 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 24, 2021 10:10 pmBy you being double vaccinated and me not being vaccinated at all how exactly am I compromising your health? I'm not anti vax, I'm booked in for my first jab next week, however I am pro-choice and I maintain every Australian deserves to have a choice. But if they choose not to get the vax, then from a medical standpoint obviously priority should be given to those that have taken the vaccine who require ICU bed's before those who have covid and don't have the vax.4liters wrote: ↑Tue Sep 21, 2021 9:04 pmI didn't watch the press conference but apparently 75% of the days covid cases were linked to the construction industry so clearly something needs to be done.
I guess if people don't want the mandates some sort of No Vax, No Ventilator policy might ease peoples' fears about hospitals getting overwhelmed with unvaccinated people.
Not once did I ever hear of someone going to get the flu jab to protect others.

Re: Back in lockdown again.
I normally read but do not comment on these topics around covid it gets very emotional between believers non believers Vax anti Vax etc. But I thought I would pass this on my niece in England her 6 yr old daughter came home from school and felt sick and tested positive to covid. I don't know what variant, she was very sick for for 3 days then started to come good my niece and partner isolated with her until she recovered.
My niece and her partner did not contract covid both were double vaccinated with moderna . They were very surprised by that fact as they were advised that they stood a chance to contract covid you can't put a 6 year old in a room for 14 days by herself.
Just thought I would share

Re: Back in lockdown again.
Its not just government mandates - we found a tradie who contracts in our housing estate was bragging about being part of the anti-vax protests. He lost all his work in our estate. He went ballistic when he found out- threatened the whole "you're violating my rights. I will sue you in nuremberg or something". Quite weird how these people think its their right to be a health hazard and their beliefs trump our community's right to healthy and alive.

Because you get priority in ICU over my daughter.

My daughter is 42, she is a nurse and has been double vaxed. Her cancer treatment is indefinitely postponed, as she would have to travel from Hobart to Melbourne for treatment. After treatment she would need at least a cpl of weeks in ICU.

There's nothing . . . absolutely nothing . . . half so much worth doing as simply messing around in boats.

Re: Back in lockdown again.
DST kicked in. Any news on curfew? In the previous curfew, they changed the start time to give the miserable people extra time under the sun.
Is it 10PM now or still 9PM?
