Too true especially when word gets out that good size fish are being caught piers get crowded as feck...

Lets get a petition going , I think that the ones we have are poor at best. And I have felt lagoon pier move as people walk on it !, the piers we have should be repaired or removed and replaced where appropriate as well there should be facility for all people to use the piers , not just fishermen , I would like to see a new pier built that is more for land based recreational use there are a couple of better locations around both of the bays that would be advantageous as far as a fisherman is concerned like depth and structure

No More piers.

We need a big (I mean BIG) C shaped break wall with fishing access along the full length and more boat ramps inside the break wall.

i doubt they will build new pier or even extend the existing one anytime soon and if they did it would turn into another mornington project that would take them years to finish something that should be done in months.
