mulloway in torquay or jan juc ?

Anyone no about fishing for mulloway or has anyone caught them around the jan juc torquay area

There was a report on here from the last week or two about a jewie from Anglesea...

The best source on info would be Geoff Wilson's book on fishing the Bellarine Peninsula. I used it years ago to catch my first shore based snapper (ok - Pinkie).

There's been Salmon caught at Jan Juc surf beach of late so the chance of a jewie after dark is a real chance. The surf beach has thrown up jewies before along with snapper and gummies.

I would be leaning towards ocean grove beach I reckon if you do the hard yards there you will be rewarded..but it's quite a tough place to fish
