Awesome!! What kind of gear and rig were you using and how did you get it up? Would you actually eat the fish? Sorry about the questions but I have never done this sort of thing before. Well done.

Hey mate, I was considering buying a snyder glas "fish striker" at the boat show as these rods can be hard to come. The rod I have is a custom "cape shanck" 28" D.L.X 40-60g.

I got it off a mate for $60(almost a steal if you ask me) about 10 years ago.

The 7200 I purchased off a fishvic member for $100(fully spooled with 20lb mono). Its made in sweden so I jumped at the opportunity to grab it. What do you use your outfit for mike?

ps..I love my 7200 but it just doesnt have the awesome "winching power" the alveys have :reel:
I got my 7200 new from J M Turvilles approx 12yo & my 7000 in 1992 both served my without a problem , now my 1st cousin uses them more than me . SynderGlas now are back on the market & made by Wilson Tackle .
