Kaspar wrote:Hey guys, caught this big beauty this morning off St Kilda Pier on a Shimano catana 2-4kg rod, 8lb braid with a 10lb mono leader and a zman grub curly tail motor oil soft plastic. Just under 100cm long and weighs 10.4 kg. This is my first Big Mullo and what a PB!.. So stoked :) Honestly do not know how my rod and line lasted during the fight. I battled him for a good 20 mins then had to walk him all the way to shore coz couldn't lift him out of the water from the pier.. Crazy :)

Caught at 5:46am during high tides.
Fantastic work mate. That is an awesome catch. Did well getting it in landbased with that gear.
