BTW what do Mulloway taste like and what technique bait etc do you use?
As you can tell I have never caught one (that's on my list :-D )

Thanks guys, fish fell to a live mullet.
Mulloway tastes pretty good, but most of mine come from the yarra so not too keen on eating it.
Simple rig, 1metre or so of 60lb leader to a 7/0 live bait hook and a 25cm dropper on top for the sinker
Live mullet,just legal live salmon, fresh squid strip and mullet fillets all work well for them.

just got back from another sesh...and they seem to be getting smaller!! lol
this one just hit 80cm, funny thing today was the first time i used circle hooks for mulloway and this is the first thats been gut-hooked! i think ill stick to livie hooks :dontknow

Great fish abz, when i used circles on jewies the same thing happened to me which is odd.
