Anything in the region of 60cm (legal) to 90cm can be excellent eating.

Thats what i said soapies are small under size fish that should not be eaten anyway , have eaten plenty of fish 70 - 90 dont taste like soap to me !!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks FJ i know 200 million people will start to be fishing now but from my experience fishing at at the warmies , you catch a good fish there and then nothing for a month and some one else gets a good fish and nothing for a month , fish don't hang around there it;s only a corridoor to the river and sea
