Well basically the quality of the blank there made on , they use to be made in USA , then blanks made in USA then off to China. But now there all Chinese . You can no longer purchase them due to not being made anymore

So are they just for collection purposes? I have a fairly new ugly stick and it's tough as nails

The USA made ugly stiks which have a USA flag and says made in USA above logo I have them basically for collection purpose I don't use them myself

Kmart used to stock these rods going back 15yrs ago.

i think they are good to use ive had mine for years , its caught huge rays big snapper and never lost a guide , runner and its not for sale
