Hobie mirage patent.

The patent on the Hobie paddle system expires soon or has already when are we going to see some cheaper knockoffs of the Hobies want to get one but am waiting for the price to drop.

Someone on Vyak was saying it's only the patent for the original one, which has since been surpassed by the newer (and still patented) versions of it.

There are already some cheap peddle kayaks on the market (i.e. Kings Kraft) although they use a propeller and you get what you pay for (not much).

there could have been a couple of cheap Hobies for sale near Coffs Harbour but no they are still going to Kayak fish
