Launched at Jam Jerup and headed straight across the channels to french island, that was a little more sheltered from the westerlies.
We sat in close at around 2-2.5 metres, anchored up and had some baits in.
We were running whole sardines on a ganged rig, freshly foraged mud crabs, month old squid heads and some fresh garfish.
The only bite for the day was a run on the whole sardine.
My Abu7001i + Shaekspeare game combo made short work of the neatly hooked gumbo.
7/0 Octopus circle neatly pinned in the corner of the mouth.

My mate reckons that it was a slow session, but I was super stoked neverthless.

Way to go Aaron
Great to pop the gummie cherry and on the Yak too, congratulations.
Those gummies seem to be the easiest to target but the hardest to get , , , , with one shall come two , , , , two shall become many , , , , and before you know it, the Minstrels are going to be writing songs about that Gummie Guy known as Smok'n
