Post by Aznvinc3nt » Sun Sep 14, 2014 1:27 pm

Hey guys.

as some of you may know, i recently bought a boat so im quite excited to be fishing in PPB this season.

I would like to know what is the best rod and reel setup for jigging in PPB and WP.

can you also recommend which braid i should be using.

Location: PPB&WP
Target:anything that chases lures(snapper, salmon,etc)
Budget:$200ish

Cheers guys!

I have a gomoku storm blue i use for jigging and trawling, matched it with a 2500 reel with 6 kg braid. i have caught snapper / salmon while jigging and have used it to pull in gummy sharks as well when baited. For such a small rod it really has some balls about it, would definitely recommend.
