I've got the 2500 rarenium version and it's a beauty mate smooth as.
Comparing it to my ci4 stradic they both are good quality reels and you want be disappointed if you wanna go down the ci4 path.

I have a Japan import Rarenium 2500 CI4+.
Love it, great little reel. I have never tried the Stradic version so I don't know the difference. This one is sturdy built though..

I have Stradic ci4 2500 and Rarenium ci4 2500. Very similar feel, spools interchangeable. I would call the Rarenium for very slightly smoother and a more solid feel out of the box but the difference is marginal and could be down to manufacturing tolerances. Rarenium comes with spare spool which would see my money going that way again if cosmetics weren't important. ie, I didn't care what color I got.

The specs for both reels are almost identical but having a spare spool is a big + for me so I would be going for the Rarenium.

I use a 2500 rrarenium. Before buying it I tried my mates stradic ci4. Both are excellent reels. As mentioned above, the rarenium has a different gear ratio. What brought me to buy the rarenium was the spare reel.
