Just get a daiwa saltist bluewater pe 2-4 rod and a daiwa bg6500 reel. And go fishing.
This combo will cost you under $200 per item and will catch you gummies to tuna and snapper.
40lb rated rod and 15kg drag rated reel with 500m of 40lb capacity. Thats plenty.....

and now even cheaper, you'd be stupid not to buy this, all that above mentioned for $250 (rod is different model but same specs and actually a better rod im pretty sure)
if i didnt have one already id be getting it with my eyes closed. and looks like you can pick which rod and reel you want. plenty of models to choose from and id be looking at a BG5000 or 6500

Never once had an issue with the smaller reels running up-to 40oz of lead, plus the kelp clumps and big angry rays or giant paper bag 7 gills.

40oz of lead where can you buy that? The biggest I have seen is 16oz and they are huge.
