um neither i think the shimano stradic fk 5000 forgot they were a 4000 body i have the fk 2500 and cant fault it i will have a look at the 5000 biomaster im unsure of the body size on them anyway i will go and see Wayne southern sportfishing and put some on a rod and take it from there

ended up going with the bg 3000 the review allan hawk done sealed the deal had a feel of the stradic fk etc but for the bucks bg is just smooth as if i want a bigger knob i will upgrade it not to hard to do
