Shimano Stella!

Post by April Fool » Thu Oct 18, 2018 6:41 am

Hi all
I had a look at a newly arrived stella yesterday at a local tackle store. I have not kept up with model releases so I am not sure if this is the first arrival of this particular model or if it has been around for several month now. But I am sure it is the latest model. Some of the stella boxes had 'SW' on them but the one I was looking at didn't. Anyway, what can I say...it is the best reel I have ever handled in regards to smoothness! That is all!
cheers
Team Bender
Hopefully won't do a dumb ar5e thing and buy one!

Nice reel...even if I could afford it, I'd be paranoid about it going overboard

Its a great reel and so is the new Exist.. they almost look like twins now..
Big difference in price between the 2 flagships though. hopefully the stella comes down in price soon so it can be a direct competition to the exist.
i had a play with both and honestly both are great reels, exist for me though :-D

The stellas are just under a grand at work now steve, a long way from their original rrp.
Haven't had a chance to play with an exist yet but the styling on either reels isn't for me.

Except the Stella looks a million times better since new exist looks like **** compared to the ~07 model.... Now that was a classy looking reel

No wonder I can't catch any fish
My dearest reel was $50, 10 years ago & it's still going strong
My cars not worth $1,000, (maybe just)
