Need rod suggestions
Predominately targeting small-medium sized sharks, (whalers, schoolies, threshers and possibly mako) large king fish
Will be paired with 10000 saragossa
Budget around 300, but can break that marginally if it's worthwhile

Ive got a Shimano T-Curve King Mac with a Saragossa 10000 on it...it's one of my favourite combos & should be perfect for your budget

Re: Need rod suggestions
I was asking if kimtown was going to use it bait fishing off the boat. Sorry I should have quoted his post.
Is the King-mac a 7ft rod? 7ft is a bit long for jigging for kings. Something 6ft or just over would be good for bait fishing and will do an okay job jigging

Yeah the King macs are 7ft. I've got a T-Curve Jig 200 (under 6ft) as well, but I find the King Mac a more versatile rod.Sinsemilla wrote:I was asking if kimtown was going to use it bait fishing off the boat. Sorry I should have quoted his post.

Re: Need rod suggestions
Get something under 7ft then. A 7ft rod will be shitty for jigging. I got a Daiwa monster mesh combi jerk. Mad allrounderKimtown wrote:Yeah predominantly bait fishing and yeah boat too.
