Re: Need rod suggestions
King Mac. Got more guts than the rating suggests. Jigging isn't impossible but it's a good excuse to spend more money on another rod just for jigging

Re: Need rod suggestions
I may have some bias given I've got 2 that are solely used for live baiting and lure casting, one with Torium 16 and other with 10k Gosa

Re: Need rod suggestions
I prefer the 10-15kg 7’6 tcurve revo offshore for bait fishing. But if you’ve got your heart set on doing other stuff like trolling get the king mack
Re: Need rod suggestions
demon blood is the go, my favorite rod for sure from kings to snapper sharks and even light for squid

Re: Need rod suggestions
Been told 50lbs braid is a bit overkill for a King Mac... better suited to 30lbs. But 30 is a little underkill for shark fishing.
I know it's one of them fine lines of trying to balance out kingfish with shark fishing. But I'd rather 50lbs for kingies than 30lbs for bronzies or mako
I was recommended a T Curve in the 10-15kg range instead.
Pls halp
