LOX YOSHI 1-3KG 7 FT
looking at getting a new rod and at the moment a lox 1 - 3 kg 7ft. Looking at reviews the tip can be broken easily , can anyone give me their opinons if using the same.Or would a 2 - 4kg be a better option or can someone recomend something else other than the Lox and Nitro. Used in Lakes for Bait and Lure fishing

Always take a good look at what you are about to eat. It’s not so important to know what it is .but it’s critical to know what it was.

I am currently using Major Craft Basspara 1-3 kg and loving it.
Second favourite is Daiwa Gen Black but I think they stopped making it.
Nitro is a bit pricey but good.

Re: LOX YOSHI 1-3KG 7 FT
The older model lox yoshis had problem with tips braking due to guide wraps on the tip, they changed the design on the tip guide on the later ones and that seemed to fix the issues, this is what i have heard and read online when i was doing some research on them myself..
Nitro is also a great rod, but expensive and has the expiditor warranty
, which im sure the lox also has.
id also look at the TD black and TD zero models from daiwa and the zodias range from shimano.

They just renamed those rods to TD black now, exactly same rods, just newer features and componentry, feels and looks a lot better than the older models

I haven't used the lox or majorcraft but hear good things. The nitro my mate has and it seems great but he actually isn't a huge fan of it and they are pricey as bro! I can highly recommend the daiwa gen black series as a quality rod with good performance at a reasonable price. I have 3 and paid between $79 and $139 on special.
