for that price, a stradic fj, maybe a 2500. would be the go, or heavier depending on your rod. should bring the rod its going to go on when you choose a reel, atm bcf has a stradic fj for 200$ which isnt a bad deal. i just bought a shimano symmtre 2500 and its a sick little reel that fits on my light spin plastics rod.

Or Diawa Ballastic. Take your rod into store and see what balance's out best.
Go see Gav or Dan at Peninsula total tackle.

i know :), i bought mine there!!! not a bad price i thought, and its so smooth, caught some 40+ trevally on it, spooled mine with 6lb pe braid, handles beautifully, also have a shimano seido, another great reel thats taken a huge beating when i was a tacker, and still running nearly just as smooth. but best to take it into the tackle shop and see what you like best on it, on monday ill be working if you wanted or you were near bcf geelong and needed some help
