What's the Samurai (rod) story?

Hi all
I did a bit of a google trying to find out about the company that makes Samurai rods. I couldn't find much except for a brief spiel on the Samurai website. The Samurai rods were designed and tested for use in Oz. Testing / designing was done by 'Frogleys Offshore' staff. Is Samurai an aussie company / are they part of Frogleys who I thought were distributors rather than manufactors?

Good question. They're not cheap.
Did a quick check here and frogleys offshore is one of the business name by Teraglow pty ltd

I have a Samurai Ledge rod for LB spinning, fantastic rod. Very light and sensitive but plenty of backbone. The company seems to be an Enigma, bit like the Assassin rods from south africa
