Strange this thread came up...I just ordered a Daiwa spincast SC120A.. I had one years ago so I'm re-living my trout spinning days all over again. Picking up a new trigger grip rod tomorrow.

Never heard of a Triggerspin. I Googled , , , , as you do , , , , man, they are some fancy reel.

I'd agree with colnick, my kids found the "push button" model easy. I can see that the triggerspin works like a trigger. Which is nice BUT the action of the "trigger" seems to be the opposite movement the index finger does when casting a normal spin reel. Would make the transition to a normal spin reel that bit harder.
