Hermès has also created a special creel for its fishing clients, which is basically a basket traditionally used to carry fish. Made of wicker, it features a lid comprised of Swift calfskin and a woolly strap, and will set you back $17,420.
Like what you see and have $31,210 to drop on your passion for fishing? (Come on, you deserve it!)

Same deal as the tossers that spend $10K+ on a wristwatch...

Makes me wonder how someone that buys this stuff was smart enough to make that kind of money .

I can see that Hermès Fishing Gear is worth every cent.
I did some research and discovered the BIG difference that makes Hermès a cut above its competition
The " e " in Hermès is an " è " , , , , it has a diacritical mark , , , , an accent , , , , that little mark above the "e" making it an " è " is worth thousands , , , , apparently.
Now I know why a Cafè can charge more than a normal Cafe

Did some research and found this!
https://www.hermes.com/au/en/story/1867 ... aign-2019/
If you scroll down you can listen to 3 enthralling minutes of why the gear was made...someone in Japan wanted it! They then had to find someone who specialises in rod building...I was waiting to hear it was Gary Loomis but fortunately it wasn't! The rod is made by flax weaving or some sh!t, but with silk I think! Listened to it about 5 minutes ago but somehow I didn't pay too much attention. This mob even make a 'Bugatti trunk'! Of course if you haven't got 3 minutes to listen to it, one can be more succinct as follows!
