3000 stradic with 2 to5 kg Shimano cranx rod.
Does me from squid to 45cm whiting to pan size pinkies
Stradic ci4?
Not a bad combo, still nice and light but enough for slightly bigger fish.

Yes
I bought Stradic FK instead of ci4, thought the hagane body etc was better and worth the extra weight, but naaahh... The lightness of Stradic ci4 is hard to trade.

the Ci4 is a very hard reel to beat in terms of value for money.. cannot go wrong at all.

I had the old ci4 2500 and 4000 and they just came out, sold them when the new one came out. Kinda regret it.
I'm trying to move away from Shimano reels and going for Daiwa reels.
Daiwa TD sol iii LT kinda match the lightness but it costs like $150 more.
