I have nothing in the 'vintage' class. 'Oldest' rod would be a 4yr old Shimano T-Curve.
Edit: well I am vintage but regarding rods - nothing :D

Re: Whats the Oldest rod you still use?
I have just about every fishing rod and reel I have ever purchased.
The older rods a few custom rods that I had built in the late 90's all almost as brand new condition and a few mass produced rods from the early 90's all still in almost brand new condition.
If one day required I would strip the best rods back to blanks and fit new hardware.

Re: Whats the Oldest rod you still use?
i still have the first rod i bought after coming to australia, bought it in 2002 or so. jarwis walker kmart special. knew nothing about fishing rods then its a Boat rod lol. havent done much fishing with it but it though.
second oldest one is a 10 foot silstar bought from when the Gone fishin store in carrum downs was Just opened. so about 7 years or so maybe. that ones caught me a lot of fish, gummies, salmon, bream, elephants, pinkies, eagle rays etc, the reel on it got r@ped by an eagle ray few years ago and had to be retired..
cheers

Our son has my late fathers split cane rod, 3 rods in one boat, river and pier, it would be close to 60 years old and still in mint condition

Dont consider them old but leave them down in goughs bay to fish for carp with.
20yr old ugly sticks. These rods back then were bout $150 bucks. Brother bought them from Canada at 25 bucks each. Bargain.
