I had a 6'7" slingshot ML action for the bass and was pulling them out of snags with no issue, good action and value for money. Watch out for the knock offs though, they're half the size of normal rods in diameter

Oh no guys. All this advice right before I'm about to head into Anaconda to purchase a Quickfire rod with cazna reel!

It's $90 And the reel is 2500.

I ended up buying a 6ft6 shimano catana that came with a 2500 solstace reel!

I don't think so. There were a few snapper combos left. All with 4000 Solstace reels. I was at the Laverton BCF. I can't remember the sizes but they were 6 - 9kg I think.
