Trolling sinkers

[Bugatti]

The other day, we had luck on the Kingfish when I added a trolling sinker to the line.

fortunately for me, I have some sinker moulds that are 100, 125 and 150 grams, and the sinkers are the same shaped ones used in casting competitions.

All I needed to do was make sure that the wire went all the way through so that I can put the mono through. So made up about 6 today, for use in the future.

That is very ingenious Wolly, and so simple, I might try it , , , , not with Kingies but with snook down here in SA.

I tend to troll lures, personally I find the fish prefer them to sinkers

Thats good effort, those sinkers in the shop are quite expensive..
ive seen the easy rigs used in the same situation
