3gm slugs?

Post by ducky » Wed Nov 19, 2014 2:25 pm

Anyone seen these before? Was cruising through anaconda gearing up for a session on Friday and came across these. Bought it for the sheer novelty. But would love to slow troll it around the salmon schools when they are hitting tiny whitebait in Northern ppb.

Good to know cobby. Haven't heard of stripies in the past couple of years unfortunately. They were around big time 3 years ago. They certainly look the goods for their price. Not a surf slug at all. But can see them going really well in clear water

Yes Ducky, i've got one. I use it when fishing for small salmon in an estuary setting. LadyK nailed a heap of them on one of those at the Bass river one day while I donutted on a plastic.

I've had one of those for more than 5 years now. Still yet to catch something on it. Although I must say I very rarely use it.

Ive used them for awhile and I like them! They cast pretty well and have a nice action if you do a super slow retrieve which can be handy sometimes. Even when cranked flat out they still hold a decent action. Have used them trolling and surf spinning and suit both applications well. Like purple Ive used them for awhile(got them through CA I think) and the factory single on the back is also a big plus with less fish throwing the lure.
When I got time,
I wet a line cos Im a junkie,
been fishin since a kid,
I like it cos it numbs me..
