I found when making those a while back,the ends where the holes were,were too thick to put 5mm or 7mm rings, so i shaved down the ends,and also they did not swim the way i wanted them to. I had put them away temporarily,and now you have reminded me to get back to it,and perfect them.I bought a few different size rings and the 3 hooks soldered together [chemically sharp]. I don't know if this was a good idea as hooks were so sharp they just pricked onto anything,jumper jeans etc. That was just my experience making them. In a day you could make heaps.Good luck.
