With the 2510 are they physically a size bigger than the 2506 or is just the spool. not familiar with 2510 size

Deeper than a 2506. Not as deep as a 2500. They take a full 150m spool of pe1.5 plus backing with smooth as butter drag even at 3kg plus.

2506 is the same weight and size etc but is kind of limited to pe0.8 and Max drag of 3kg. Still quite capable and perfect for what it can fit but at the upper end of the limits of what I like.

Thanks,
was wondering wether the internals of those reels will be any different as well
7kg of drag on those same gears as a 2000 size body reels are a lot of drag
my 2506 and 2004 both have same body but different(bigger) spool and rotor on the 2506,
so wa sjust wondering if the 2510 body was still the smaller 2000 sized body.
in saying that i have a caldia 2500 which has a baody thats physically bit bigger than the luvias i have lol
will have to look into it more, could be just murphy playing games

Really? I have a 2004, 2506 and 2x 2510 luvi's and I'm certain the 2004 is smaller. I'll take the soools off and do a direct comparison though.

I believe the 2500 body is larger than the 2000, not 100% though

That certainly does match the hatch. That's what I meant about the yank bluegill patterns. Certainly a close match to those cichlids.

I was under the same impression until i was told othewise. So i went home and checked.
2004 and 2506 body is same size.
The retrieve ratio is the same. But actual cm of line retrieved is higher in 2506 due to it having the bigger spool and rotor.

Anyway ill leave that for anothwr post. Back to barra lures and gear
