Man those cichlids are quite colorful.
I used to have them in my aquarium for quite a while.
Young fella has grown quite a bit from when i seen him last at the Brighton pier meetup.
Ill be trying some plastics i think and whatever else that i can match to the cichlids that are in there

but i'm thinking with whats in the pondage lures would be a tough task until they thin them out a bit
and then this pattern would do the job .

The closest common lure profile that matched the hatch are the Yank bluegill patterns. I'll be looking at a few of these
