Starting Out With Soft Plastics

Post by anthony2510 » Mon Oct 08, 2012 2:35 pm

This is for any anglers out there who like myself are new to using soft plastics.
Found it helpful to target species and know what im looking for!
Tips on fish behaviour, rod set-up, common jigs/softs to use, etc.
Easy to understand too!

I agree, i thought the information provided was good but a pity they didnt cover a wider range of fish. But ile be sure in the wide world of web it all sits there somewhere.

There's so many different techniques you can use with Soft Plastics.

Trail and error is the key, I use a technique that I sort of taught myself, works for me, but fishing being fishing some days you've just gotta try something different to get a bite!

There was a really good article recently in a freshwater mag about SP techniques for trout.

No worries, if anyone else reading this happens to come across a tidy little information page like this on a fish not covered here, Feel free to add it.

I enjoyed watching this vid. I'd love to catch a flathead, but not sure where/when is good for PPB landbased...
