close, it's a lure first designed and manufactured in the late 1800's, but still produced today. So your lure could come from any time since then (but odds are, later rather than earlier).
Thanks for the advice mate. Doesn't really match modern devons though mate. Descriptions and pictures from the mid 1900's suggest that it was from around that time. Have a look at the link 'Nude up' provided. There is alot of ino about it on there.

Have you considered taking it to someone who could possibly identify the age of the lure etc.

I have looked at the link, and seen devons in the flesh before. I would be very surprised if it were pre-WWII in age, so not an early example.

Maybe theres a historical group who could put you onto someone. Im not entirely sure if theres anyone who specialises in the history of Australian recreational fishing.
