I never knew that gars took lures. Usually fished for them with a hook under a float. Please tell us how you go with the lure and the maggot sized plastic.

Haha, thats hilarious. I got them online from overseas, so I have like 200 of them, you have given me some ideas.....

Caught more gars on lure than bait now, typically scent and small lures are required but not always.
