I hath returned (if you remember me)
Hey guys,
Off to Metung in the 23rd of September and saw BCF was having a sale so I went and picked up some plastics (something I've never tried down there) for the trip.
Headed off to BCF as they've got a sale on at the moment, with 3 Zmans for $27. Grabbed a pack of Slim Swimz in Mood ring, a pack of Curly Tailz in Baby bass and some Streakz in Motor Oil. I've heard good thing about Zmans and these colours and types specifically from FishingWithTimmyTurtle (check him out on YouTube a great aussie guy from the north) and I'm keen to try em out.
Open to ideas and feedback.
Cheers,
Ham

Iam a timmy turtle fan. I never fished soft plastics till now due to watching his video's. Especially the recent lure challenge

Re: Gippsland Plastics
Work them really slow for bream. By really slow i mean just dead stick them on the bottom and jiggle the rod a bit. Metal blades and micro vibes are the go when its cold and the bigger models are holding deep.
Light jig heads and 2-3 lifts if you're after trevs and tailor.
Haven't done great on plastics vs bream at metung, but hope you get onto a few

Metung has been good for bream recently, try flick then under jettys and try a get a reaction bite (the fish don't think they just bite)
