Bulk hardbody blanks

Post by BIG GAV » Sat Sep 29, 2018 8:15 am

Anybody here into lure making? More specifically painting plastic blanks (lipless crankbaits, minnows etc) I’ve been tossin up the idea for a while. There’s so many quality lure makers in the native scene especially when talking hand made timber lures. But I’m more interested in the smaller baits more suited to bream reddies trout n the like.

As always it’s always cheaper to get it from China a blank here approx 7-12 bucks a pop opposed to 1 dollar each there my only issue is the quality as most sites have a 200 unit minimum n I’d hate to buy 200 lures that don’t swim

So here I am asking u lot of legends if anyone has tried this or can refer me to a quality blank..
I am aware the swim test will show the flaws in the action n I can tune it in just not so keen on testing n tuning 200 little hardbodies

Thanks in advance fellas

Frank at Busted fishing might have some ideas. If you get into it i'll place an order with you cos there are some things I don't seem to be able to find.
