Your favourite Hardbody lure?

Post by TrevKing » Sun Jun 26, 2011 12:43 pm

I'd just like everybody's opinion on this, could be an interesting topic. Please include pics of the lure.

Mine would probably be the 3B Crank Fat dog from berkley, very realistic and easy to cast. Great swimming action. I advise you to buy one of these lures.

Ouch how do I choose ???
Thats a really hard call to make as so many lures produce for many various fish.

But back when I was activly fishing instead of now activly sitting on my butt or in bed the
Best of my Best Lures would be Yo-Zuri Snap Shad approx 45/50mm, colour now unknown to me, I bought a 4 of these and boy the fish were on. It was Trout here and there and enough Redfin to please anyone.
So I gave them a try on Bream and they worked way better than any of my EcoGear SX40 in a range of a few colours. The sad fact was that I had only bought the one colour Yo-Zuri, but I must have picked the perfect one as it seemed to get hit by any number of species of fish.

To me I found nothing wrong with the cheaper Kokoda Sprog Lures or the Tsunami Super Bream or Trout Lures, in fact I found that both these makes worked really well, but my Yo-Zuri has caught more fish than all the fish that these lures caught for me combined.
So I give it a 5 Thumbs Up

cheers

well I dont use a lot of HBs but I do troll some from time to time and like using Rapala TDD-9 in bleading olive
they work realy well on flattys as they dive to 20 ft and can be bounced off the sand it get the fishs attention
of cause snook and pike like them
and the biggest squid I've caught also fell prey to one of these

My favorite hardbody would be Rapala Countdowns or Original Floaters. My favorite color would be Firetiger. I use them in freshwater for trout and redfin.
thanks
