Anything that doesn't come in juice. Juice annoys the crap out of me and it stinks! If I wanted to use things like Gulp I'd grab a potato and carve out my own lures and still not smell like a bait fisho

Hey scott, eslop wrote:I am a SP fanatic. I reckon I've caught more fish on SP's than hard bodies. (Doesn't stop me buying hard bodies, ask my Mrs).
I have used a variety of brands from squidgies (although I think their quality has dropped), to Gulp and everything in between.
12 months ago I was put onto Strike Tigers. Now this is what I usually use as the success rate has been awesome. They swim really well and fish love 'em.
I usually use them on a slow retrieve with pauses to let the SP swim up and down.
I'm not one to rule out anything, so I'm interested in what people like to use and techniques they use.
I fresh water fish mostly, (due to where I live), but occasionally get to the salt.
Sorry to hijack your thread with pms.
I try different techniques until I get a fish on. I am loving Zman grubs, squidy flick baits & Tupong's sps. When the fish are in thick numbers, dead sticking works like a charm for me but sometimes I give two short hops and long pauses or slow roll along the bottom. Also depends on what we are chasing of course.

GS, why not just post that PM to the public forum, is it confidential?

I assume he is talking about "plastic assassin" who is a member of another forum and sells jig heads very cheaply. I have a big box of his jig heads at home.

haha nah no secrets but didn't want to hijack this thread.
If it helps
Plastic Assassin from the other forum makes them from 1/32 to 1/4oz in various hook sizes.
Also this guy has nice jigheads almost like TT's. He runs out of them pretty quickly though.
http://stores.ebay.com.au/likefishingstore" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
another one is fishaholicjigheads
Beware of the cheapies though & hope it helps...
Cheers

I thought I had to add this to avoid confusion. The term "Cheapies" was not meant to be for any of the sellers I have mentioned above.
