Lower $ makes wholesale cost increase, then retail cost increase, meaning you pay more at the till. Not the other way around.

I shop at a few places and sometimes online OS. All are small tackle stores, all happy to knock some off the sticker for regulars. Beats BCF and the big boys any day

Some of the best buys I have had lately have been from larger chain tackle stores having ridiculous specials on reels cheaper than I could get on line. Its a case of know your prices and purchase when a bargain comes along.

Ok I know I've mentioned these guys a few times now so I'll put this out there - I swear to god I don't work there or have anything at all to do with these guys except for being a loyal customer;

In saying that - I've gotta give a shout to Steve & Scott at Compleat Angler in Geelong. I live in South Yarra and have made this place my 'local' - I'm happy to make that drive for the service, range, & prices. Good selection (and more than willing to order anything they don't have in) of products and really good prices (frequently on par with or better than the massive retailers & online stores) - and they're happy to do a deal to look after regulars. Just ordered in a new reel and they've given me a better price than I found online. I've spent a ton of cash there and will continue to make the trek down there to do so. Highly recommend.

Has anyone dealt with a place called Rigmaster in Narre Warren?
Their prices seem good but I haven't bought anything from them yet.
Thanks.
