Hook up bait and tackle - Ferntree gully

hi guys
just went into my local tackle store Hook up bait and tackle, the business has been sold and starting tuesday they are having a sale on everything starting Tuesday and they are not ordering any more tackle at the moment. So if you are looking for a bargain on some stuff, even fly fishing gear.. head down there.
Milton, the Original owner was there today and he informed me of all this, hoping that the place is still going to be run as a Fishing tackle shop though, with the same great customer service as before.

yeah me too, hoping its just the owner changing hands and not too much will change... its good talking to milton about trout fishing tactics and gear when i go in there.

I drive past the place every day with work and have been going there for about 6 years. Good service and prices. Yeah, me too hopes it stays as a tackle shop..

Have received very good service every time I have been there... always going the extra yard.. Just hope it stays open.

Called up today and they said it's not a closing down sale, it's a rennovation sale.
All stock on floor is marked down and they won't be ordering new stock until rennovation is complete.

ah thats great news, i will be heading down there later this week... i hope Milton still works there...even atleast part time, great bloke!
also hope their nice fly fishing section will still be there..

I did work experience there must be 25 years ago, my first rod came from there too :thumbsup: Still got it, a 5'6 3k ugly stick, the reel wore out years ago but the rods been round Aust twice..Bloody good people in there and Milton is a top fella.
