Tackle store East Melbourne?

Post by foggybottom » Tue Oct 01, 2013 9:07 am

I've been watching Channel 31 and remember seeing a tackle shop advertised that I thought was on Canterbury Rd in Vermont.

I can't find it with google and wonder if anyone knows the name of the place. was thinking of going and checking it out this arvo. The GF is away and I can spend my money without getting in trouble for a few weeks!

I'm looking for a little spin outfit to go and try some lure fishing for trout. Maybe something like the Daiwa Gen Black Itchy Twitchy and some suitable small reel to suit.

Are there any other shops around that eastern melbourne area worth having a sticky into?

the stores in the area are Box Hill - Compleat Angler, Vermont - Regal Marine, Ringwood - Compleat Angler, a few others around - anaconda, bcf, rays, spinners bait & tackle, hook up (closed for renos atm), boronia marine (shimano rods) not sure you'll see much daiwa gear in any of them. try CA ringwood or for daiwa rods go to Armadale Angling in Malvern - great range of light tackle.
