How far south are the pinkies that are currently in northern ppb, is anyone getting many south of mornington or is my best bet just to head north

Altona, boat based.
I got few just size ones at point cook.
To many boats kayak, helicopter , catch a fish,catch a fish

Mine were bycatch when drifting for flathead n squid.
Cardinal mark or time ball marker williamstown, I will sound around a bit n either look for a school or if it is a hour before tide change,I will find a good drop off n burley.

I would definitely drift for fresh squid before anchoring for a snapper.

Find them. Need to watch the sounder. That's what I have done
