Morning all

All were caught on BM snapper snatcher's.

Might be the last trip for a bit as my dad is going in for more surgery soon but fingers crossed ill be back fishing again more regularly once he recovers.
Firstly Marty, hope all goes well for your Dad and his surgery. And a speedy recovery, mainly for his well being, but also for you to be able to get out amongst the fish again.

Great morning with a great haul too. Nice to see the knowledge and efforts were trusted and paid off.

On the BM Snapper Snatchers catching all the fish. Is that because all the rods had those on, OR was it only the rods with the Snatchers on that brought in the fish?

Cheers, Bugatti
Hey mate cheers in regards to my dad
The bigger fish were all caught on the snatchers that were baited as well. The lines baited with just the whiting seemed to be always attacked by the smaller pinkies.Funnily enough even one of the flatties was caught on a snatcher rig.

We use "Snatcher Style' hooks too. And found they catch 80% of the fish

Having a fair few Fishers (family, our kids & friends) that the Brother in-law and I take out, each with our boats, and these Fishers being of all ages, we lose a fair few rigs going for Snaps. I tie the Brother in-law's rigs (at the request of his kids, who use my rigs on my boat and catch , , , , "Uncle Bill's Boat and Rigs catch fish", if you ask them), so Snatcher pre-tied rigs mount up the expense.

I get mine (online from Vic believe it or not , , , , I'm in SA) as packs of twelve single "hairy hooks" (for about $9 for 12) and tie the rigs myself (using Jinkai green, the soft leader line)

BUT, I also tie/snoot my own snatcher style hooks out of tensile, kids toy play wigs etc etc

That box reminds me, I need a solid rig tying night real soon.
