If anyone looks at the fishing regulations. The use of mammal meat or offal is not allowed to be used for fishing.

Chickens aint mammals.
Mammals are characterised by the trait of nursing their young with Milk (the word mammal relates to the prescence of mammary glands in the female of the species for that purpose).
Hence, use of chicken meat = perfectly legal
