Awesome mate (jealous face).

Can I ask a question... It looks like you've sliced the gut out of them (certainly the big one). When/how is it best to do this?

I caught a pinkie last night and have chilled it in the fridge overnight 'as is' (i.e. haven't removed any parts). Is it safe to do this, or should the gut be removed straight away?

I can't find any decent guides on this subject..

I normally clean the fish just as I'm about to get going, less mess to make at home...and I don't like the smell of the guts the next day..

Nice fish Mate.

minimal - you should always gut a fish before freezing or putting in the fridge - best to do it straight away or as soon as you get home.

It was 15-20 knots southerly last night until around 10PM then the wind died down a bit.
