Give it a go around Coronet Bay and Reef Island, the current doesn't run too hard there.

If you scale up the pinkie I got offshore a decent red would be all over that jig

i would really love to give WPB a crack this time for snapper, but my boat isnt suited to it i think..

anchor is too small, and im not sure if the electric will hold in that much current ive never tried it there yet, besides all my gear is suited to lighter fishing

Terry's old boat was a 4.4 tinny Steve, Your's would be that much smaller would it.?

You would be fine mate. WPB isn't that much different to PPB other than the current and channels/sandbanks. Just like you would in PPB, pick your days and you would be right. The current is only ripping at certain times of the day.
