I wonder how many people here often hear from their friends something like "wow, you always catch fish, I see your posts in facebook, I should come with you" and in the head is like "yeah, because when I dont catch, I dont tell/share"
................
Some people will not post their failures due to ego issues and some will not post for the following reason. They believe that nobody will be interested. I post a quick report on everything for 2 reasons. First of all, if I don't post my failures, I will never be posting any reports!

Secondly, I think members will find donut reports handy if only for knowing where to avoid...or which tactics aren't working.

Good thread as well Bugatti.

Totally agree Seb85 and April Fool.

It isn't only about the catch, if it was, it would be called "Catching". It's about fishing which is everything, the day out, the occasion, the everything.

And as much as catching teaches us, so does not catching. So all post, donuts and all, can be learnt from.

There have been some great reports/posts on here of a Great Day Out, with out a fish. This one from Mustang38 is a great report/post of their time out, irrelevant of not catching one fish.

Headed down to Venus Bay today. Got away around 4 and arrived round 6. We were greeted by locals, no advise on special spots though.

We had an awesome time though shame about the fish.

Lots of pics none of fish, guess we have to go back and catch em.
Cheers guys
