WHAT A FEELING!!!!!!!!

Post by Deepak » Thu Feb 07, 2019 7:58 am

Been having a tough time at work. I really need to offload and wind down.

Thinking about going fishing in Newport this Saturday 9th Feb. Damn, been catching small pinkies and constantly shredding the baits the last few occasions I been.

Does anybody fish there?? Any luck with snapper or flat head guys???

Working psychiatry is bloody hard at times and lately grinding me.

I just feel like if I don't go fishing this weekend I will explode.

If you’re not having too much luck, maybe try somewhere else mate?
I know what it’s like when those micro pinkies are around!

The further you go from Melbourne, the better the fishing gets , especially landbased.
Head over to Lorne , and use small fresh baits off the pier.
There is always more to learn , fish to catch , places to see and friends to make.

Probably not a great time to be fishing for Snapper. Always a chance of flatties when fishing the bottom.. As smokin_reels said Lorne's been doing well for Salmon and its a good time to chase whiting if you have any likely spots..

Haven't fished there for a while, but yes, this time of year, there's undersized pinkie plague.
