Nice fish mate, well done. I'd love to give the plastics a go for snapper, but the current in Westernport is simply not conducive the bulk of the time

Yeah wpb unfortunately doesnt play well with lures. Would have been good fun otherwise.

Nah the sink rate on the brickhead would be too fast for WPB, i'll save that for chasing hapuka and blue eye on plastics

This is the one, that's a 200mm squidgy whipbait superglued on it (I cut it down a tiny bit so it fit better)

That looks pretty interesting, cant say I've seen this style before.
TT make some really heavy jigheads and so does berkley with the elevator style ones.

Storm made that one. You can’t see it on that angle but the shape of the face of the jighead is a bit like the front of a crankbait so it’d probably have pretty good action for trolling for breams

Yeah you can tell with where the placement of the tow point is that it's made for trolling..
