This thread is going way off topic with comments to own a boat or not , maybe start another topic & keep this one for Snapper fishing "be it Landbased or in a boat .

Things I can do on my tub that LB u cant...

1. Watch DVDs or Tv on my 22inch LED...
2. Take a snooze in my double bed...whilst I wait for the alarm to go off (ALarm is a reel screaming its head off)
3. Walk around naked and not worry cause no one will see...lol
4. Take people like you for a fish and you probably sell your car to buy a tub...(I did! As an old car freak this meant alot)...lol
5. Dive for abs, scallops, fish where the fish are not hope the fish will come to the jetty
6. Cruise up the yarra for newyears eve fireworks... do it every year and its a blast...and i dont have to deal with drunks or anti social idots...
7. If I am lucky enough to hook that BIG one I can chase it down with the boat and not get spooled(well depends on fish but more chance winning the fight with the boat as to jetty)
8. I can go on and on but you get the point....



I love the boat ride just if not more than the fishing some days...
